The overall idea of Casinos might raise questions in the minds of atheists but casinos do adhere to some strict rules and regulations. These rules vary among countries and even states but there are some basics that are the same everywhere.
- An employee of a casino must not either solicit or accept tips or other benefit from any player or customer.
- An employee of a casino cannot advise any customer on how to play. He may however ensure compliance with the rules of the games.
- Spectators wagering at a table cannot offer advice any player unless advised to do so.
- Spectators and players cannot side bet with or against each other under any circumstances.
- Casino operator, upon discretion, may reserve tables for private use of one or a group of individuals, or for a specific promotion, tournament or other event.
- Casino operator, upon discretion, may close an ongoing gaming table by providing notice at least 20 minutes before.
- Maximum and minimum wager limits permitted at a table must be displayed on the table.
- Wagers placed with a casino operator must be paid, taken, or disposed of by the casino operator strictly according to the applicable rules. Winnings shall also be determined by the casino rules and that is irrespective of overpayments, if any, is made by the operator.
- Casino operator is entitled to recover overpayment from time to time.
- Players are responsible for claiming and collecting wagers.
