What casino game has the best odds?
Generally, blackjack is the most favored game in the casino. House edges for blackjack ranges from about 0.15% to 0.45%, depending on the house rules and the number of decks. Sometimes, single deck games can also be found which give a slight edge to the player.

What is a comp?
A comp, or complementary, is a reduced room rate or a meal, which sometimes is a free stay in the casino's hotel. A comp describing RFB means that the casino is giving you free room (R), food (F), and beverage (B).
A comp typically takes the form of a receipt that you take to the coffee shop or the buffet, showing that the casino is paying for your meal and one or two drinks. Generally, a comp is for two people at the minimum. A comp never includes the tip and if the casino is complimenting you to dinner they will make the necessary reservations and will deliver the chit directly to the Maitre’d.
How do you get comps?
The first thing that you should remember is that there is nothing as free lunch. If you want a comp, you must first gamble at the casino and then ask for a comp.
Secondly, comps differ in the amount. How you will be comped depends on how much you play.
What is the Casino Host Department?
One of the most important departments of a casino that you should get familiar with is the Casino Host Department. Employees of this department are called Casino Hosts. The job of Casino Hosts is to get your name and address, make you feel comfortable and ensure that you enjoy yourself and return. There may be different Casino hosts for table games, slot, and even a keno in a single hotel.
How do I get a casino credit line?
This is a simple procedure. Call up one of the casinos and ask either for the credit department or a casino host and tell him that you want to arrange for a line of credit. To this, he’ll just take down your name, address, phone number, place of business, what you do and a bank account number. In case you are applying for credit, the casino will also check your past history with Central Credit, the TRW of the casino industry.
You can even ask a Casino to send you a credit application and return it with photo copies of your driver's license and a check from the account you are using as a reference.
How to use markers?
Once you enter a casino after establishing credit, you will be required to go to the cage to sign some papers and let them copy your driver's license. You will be also required to indicate how you wish to pay for any outstanding markers upon your departure. In case of your first trip, a casino may want you to settle before you leave. Later on, you may be able to work our some sort of payment plan.
What are the standardized chip colors?
Across the United States, all casinos use red for $5 chips, green for $25, and black for $100.
In Las Vegas, other denomination chips maybe of any color whatsoever, though $1 chips are generally white or blue.
In Atlantic City, a Munsel Color Code system is used, which is a matter of regulation.
