Sic Bo |
Sic Bo is an ancient Chinese game of chance played with 3 dice. A Sic Bo table is illuminated brightly and can widely be found in the Asian Sections of most of the Casinos. Sic Bo is exciting because of its simplicity. The objective of the game is either to select the individual numbers of a combination of numbers that players expect to appear once the dice are shaken and rolled.
The possibilities of betting and the respective payoff amounts are portrayed on the table layout by showing the faces of the dice in the winning combinations. There are seven types of bets that can be made:
Wagers can be made on any one of the six sides of the dice. In case the number comes up the payoff is 1 to 1. I two dice come up with the number the payoff is 2 to 1 and 3 to 1 incase of 3.
Players can bet on a combination of two particular numbers. The winning payoff is 5 to 1
Wagers may even be made on the total of all 3 dice.
A wager of ‘small’ or ‘big’ can also be made. A ‘small’ bet wins if the total of the 3 dice is between for and 11, while a ‘big’ bet wins if the total is between 11 and 17.
A wager can be made for a particular triplet and the payoff for this bet is 150 to1.
A bet for any pair of numbers turning up is 8 to 1. |
